Q: Does BaseToolbox upload my ecommerce report?

No. Parsing, mapping, calculation, storage, optional AI explanation, and export run in your browser. Report contents are not sent to BaseToolbox analytics.

Q: Will the tool estimate missing costs or marketplace fees?

No. If a required cost, fee, refund, or advertising field is not mapped, the result identifies it as not included. The tool does not guess fee rates or silently treat unknown data as complete.

Q: Does AI calculate profit, ROAS, or refund rate?

No. A deterministic decimal engine calculates the metrics from confirmed columns. The shared local model only explains the returned metrics and coverage; it does not scan or calculate the raw table.

Q: Will the downloaded local AI model survive a refresh?

Normally yes. Verified model weights are cached by version and reused after refresh or browser restart while the runtime instance is rebuilt. Clearing site data, private browsing, or browser storage eviction can require another download.

Current limitations

CSV, TSV, and modern XLSX files are supported; legacy .xls, macros, and desktop-Excel formula recalculation are not.
Metrics depend on the mapped export fields. Missing costs, platform fees, payment fees, refunds, fulfillment costs, or ad spend are explicitly marked not included and are never estimated.
Currencies are calculated separately without exchange-rate conversion. Date trends accept unambiguous ISO dates; unsupported dates are reported and excluded.
Browser storage can be cleared or reclaimed, and private browsing may not retain sessions, source files, or downloaded model weights.

Calculate deterministically

A decimal-based rules engine calculates each currency separately and records valid, invalid, missing, and not-included inputs for every metric.

Inspect, explain, and export

Review metrics, coverage, and the monthly trend. The shared local AI may explain only those results, and CSV, XLSX, or Markdown exports preserve the disclosures.
