HEIC or HEIF only. Up to 10 files, 20 MiB each, 100 MiB total, and 40 megapixels per image.

Convert HEIC to JPG without uploading

Use this HEIC to JPG converter for iPhone photo exports, Apple Photos downloads, and HEIF images that need a more widely compatible JPG/JPEG file. The conversion is browser-local, so images stay on your device while the browser prepares the downloadable output.

When to use this HEIC to JPG tool

  • Convert an iPhone photo from HEIC to JPG before uploading it to forms, marketplaces, CMS tools, or design apps.
  • Handle HEIC and HEIF files from Apple devices and other cameras that use high-efficiency image formats.
  • Convert up to 10 images at once and download each JPG or a ZIP of converted files.
  • Keep original dimensions or resize while preserving the aspect ratio.

Browser-local image conversion

HEIC decoding and JPG export run in your browser. BaseToolbox does not upload, store, or proxy your images.

Still-image, metadata, and Live Photo limits

The output is one static JPG. Transparent pixels become white, additional images or animation are not preserved, and Canvas re-encoding removes the original EXIF, GPS, XMP, and other metadata. The tool converts the still HEIC/HEIF file only; it does not preserve a Live Photo motion video, depth map, or other auxiliary resources.

HEIC to JPG FAQ

What is a HEIC file?
HEIC is a high-efficiency image format commonly used by iPhone and Apple Photos. JPG is more widely accepted by older websites, forms, and image workflows.
Can this convert HEIF to JPG too?
Yes. The converter checks for a recognized HEIC or HEIF container, decodes the still image locally, and exports one JPG file.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The conversion runs locally in the browser, and BaseToolbox does not upload or store your images.
Can I convert multiple HEIC photos at once?
Yes. Add up to 10 HEIC or HEIF images, convert them to JPG, then download files individually or as a ZIP. Each file may be up to 20 MiB, all inputs together up to 100 MiB, and each decoded image up to 40 megapixels.
