Build consistent UTM campaign URLs
Add GA4-friendly utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term and utm_content parameters without manually editing a query string. Existing query parameters are preserved.
Campaign data stays in this browser
The destination and UTM values are combined locally in this browser. BaseToolbox does not send, store or shorten the campaign URL.
UTM builder FAQ
- What do utm_source and utm_medium mean?
- utm_source identifies where traffic came from, such as google or newsletter. utm_medium identifies the channel, such as cpc, email or paid_social.
- Can I use these UTM links with GA4?
- Yes. GA4 reads standard UTM parameters when a tagged link brings a visitor to a measured site. Your Analytics setup still needs to be installed and configured separately.
- What happens to existing query parameters?
- The builder preserves existing query parameters and adds or updates the UTM parameters using URL-safe encoding.
- Does BaseToolbox store my campaign URLs?
- No. URLs and campaign values are processed in the current browser and are not sent to BaseToolbox for storage or shortening.
