Q: Is this a complete Shopify import validator?

No. The versioned Shopify profiles cover the documented minimum Title and URL handle requirements plus selected explicit checks. Conditional variant, inventory, market, media, and metafield rules remain outside this MVP scope.

Q: Which Shopify rules are used?

The July 29, 2026 ruleset references Shopify's official product CSV documentation. Creating a product requires Title; updating requires URL handle and Title. The result always displays this source and review date.

Q: Will the cleaner invent missing product data?

No. It trims or safely normalizes existing mapped text and reports missing or invalid values. It does not generate prices, availability, images, or product claims.

Q: Is my product feed uploaded?

No. Parsing, cleaning, persistence, validation, and export all run locally in your browser.

Clean and validate product feed rows locally. Use generic quality checks or a versioned Shopify minimum-field profile with a visible official source, scope, and review date.

Shopify profiles cover a documented minimum-field subset and selected explicit formats, not every conditional product, variant, market, inventory, media, or metafield rule.
Safe fixes trim text and can normalize a Shopify URL handle; review cleaned identifiers before import because external references may depend on them.
Platform documentation can change. The visible rules version, source, scope, and checked date must be reviewed before a critical import.
