No. Parsing, calculations, saved sessions, optional model inference, and exports run in your browser.

Q: Does AI calculate the rating distribution?

No. A deterministic decimal engine validates and counts ratings. Local AI is only used for source-linked qualitative themes.

Q: Can it invent a sentiment percentage?

No. The tool reports measured rating counts and asks the model to cite supplied review IDs rather than invent unsupported percentages.

Q: Will the local model be downloaded after every refresh?

Normally no. Verified model weights are cached by version and reused after refresh or browser restart unless site data is cleared or the browser evicts storage.

Current limitations

Ratings outside the integer 1–5 scale are reported as invalid and excluded from averages.
AI themes are qualitative summaries of a bounded set of supplied excerpts, not statistically inferred sentiment scores.
The tool does not identify reviewers, infer demographics, or verify whether a review is authentic.
Clearing site data, private browsing, or browser storage eviction can remove saved files, sessions, and model weights.
