Q: Are survey responses uploaded?

No. Parsing, deterministic calculations, saved results, and optional local AI theme analysis run in your browser. Response content is excluded from analytics.

Q: Why can multi-choice percentages add up to more than 100%?

Each percentage uses answered respondents as its denominator, and one respondent may choose several options. Selection totals are shown separately so the denominator remains explicit.

Q: Does the AI read the entire survey?

No. Deterministic code analyzes structured questions. For one open-text column, the shared local model receives at most 30 bounded examples and every returned theme must cite valid source row IDs.

Q: Will the local AI model be downloaded after every refresh?

Normally no. Verified model weights are cached by immutable version and reused after refresh or browser restart. The inference instance is rebuilt in memory; clearing site data, private mode, a model update, integrity failure, or browser eviction can require a new download.

Analyze ratings, single-choice, multi-choice, and open-text survey columns locally. Keep respondent and selection denominators separate, inspect missing responses, and optionally find source-linked themes with the shared local AI model.

Current limitations

The tool supports CSV, TSV, and modern XLSX, but not legacy .xls, macros, or formula recalculation.
Question types and the multi-choice separator must be reviewed; the tool does not guess an ambiguous survey schema.
Open-text theme analysis uses at most 30 bounded examples and does not claim sample-wide prevalence or sentiment percentages.
Clearing site data, private browsing, or browser storage eviction can remove saved sessions, source files, results, and model caches.
