Files, prompts, and results stay in this browser. Browser storage can still be cleared by you, private mode, or browser cleanup.
Private local summarization

Your source, prompts, chunk summaries, final summary, and references remain in local browser storage. The content is not uploaded or included in analytics.

Current limitations
  • Local models can omit nuance or misunderstand ambiguous language; source references make review easier but do not guarantee factual completeness.
  • Long sources are summarized in deterministic chunks and then reduced, so cross-section context may be less precise than in a much larger model.
  • Action-item mode reports explicit tasks only and must not invent an owner or date.
  • Model weights are normally cached across refreshes, but clearing site data, private browsing, or browser eviction can require another download.

How the local text summarizer works

1

Import or paste text

The source is normalized and split at stable sentence boundaries that fit the current device profile.

2

Summarize each source segment

The single global local model summarizes bounded segments and must cite only the source ID it received.

3

Combine and verify references

Partial summaries are reduced locally, invented source IDs are rejected, and the result can be exported as Markdown or TXT.
