Returns and Refunds Analyzer

Analyze refund amounts, return rates, and return reasons from your actual export. Denominators and missing inputs are disclosed, currencies remain separate, and calculations stay in your browser.

Saved sessions

Drop a returns or refunds CSV, TSV, or XLSX file here

The file stays in your browser. Legacy .xls files are not supported.

Private returns analysis

Source reports, mappings, results, saved sessions, and exports remain in your browser and are excluded from BaseToolbox analytics.

Current limitations
  • A refund amount rate requires a mapped sales denominator; a returned-order rate requires returned orders and total orders.
  • A row count is not automatically treated as an order count because exports can contain multiple rows per order.
  • Currencies remain separate and no exchange rates, platform fees, costs, or unreported refunds are estimated.
  • Browser storage can be cleared or reclaimed, and private browsing may not retain sessions or files.

How returns and refunds analysis works

1

Map actual export fields

Confirm refund amounts, optional sales and order denominators, reason, product, and currency.

2

Calculate with explicit coverage

The decimal engine separates currencies and leaves unsupported rates uncalculated.

3

Review reasons and export

Inspect reason totals, invalid values, denominator coverage, and downloadable results.
