Q: How is refund rate calculated?

Refund amount rate is absolute mapped refund amount divided by mapped sales amount. Returned-order rate is mapped returned orders divided by mapped total orders.

Q: What if my export has no total sales or order count?

The corresponding rate remains not calculated and the missing denominator is shown. The tool does not use raw row count as a hidden substitute.

Q: Are marketplace fees or return costs estimated?

No. Only mapped export values are calculated. Missing fees, costs, and rates are never guessed.

Q: Is my returns report uploaded?

No. Parsing, calculations, persistence, and export run locally in your browser.

Current limitations

A refund amount rate requires a mapped sales denominator; a returned-order rate requires returned orders and total orders.
A row count is not automatically treated as an order count because exports can contain multiple rows per order.
Currencies remain separate and no exchange rates, platform fees, costs, or unreported refunds are estimated.
Browser storage can be cleared or reclaimed, and private browsing may not retain sessions or files.
